Ukraine: loans under state guarantees made easier
The Cabinet of Ministers has made it easier for farmers and food processors to get loans under state portfolio guarantees, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported on October 9. The relief applies for the period of martial law, but no later than September 1, 2027.

- Debt repaid before the guarantee

Minister Taras Vysotskyi: a short technical delay in a payment should not cost farmers state support. If a guaranteed loan falls into arrears, the guarantor will be able to transfer the right of claim to the lending bank. The aim is uninterrupted access to credit during sowing and harvest.
