Ukraine: wheat harvested, 5-7-9% loans extended
Ukraine has finished harvesting wheat, barley and rapeseed: about 25 million tonnes of wheat, 6 million tonnes of barley and 4 million tonnes of rapeseed, Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotskyi reported on October 22.

Subsidized lending for farmers has been extended to August 31, 2027. Since the start of the year farms have raised UAH 132 billion in loans, UAH 55 billion of it under the 5-7-9% program. Next season the wheat area may shrink by 15–17%, while soybeans and sunflower may grow.
