In short: we collect what you send us on WhatsApp, Telegram, by phone or by email, plus basic analytics data. We use it to find, buy and deliver the equipment you order. We don't sell it. We never share your phone number for anyone else's marketing. You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time at [email protected].
1. Who we are
Dessant Inc, operating as "Dessant Agro" ("we", "us", "our"), finds, buys and delivers agricultural machinery and parts from the USA and provides information about them via dessantagro.com (the "Site"). 2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram, by phone or by email: your name, phone number and messenger account, email address, country, company name, the equipment you are looking for (make, model, year, hours, budget) and the delivery destination. During a purchase: correspondence, agreements, invoices, shipping documents and transaction history.
2.2 Company and verification information
To prepare the agreement, invoice and export documents, and for sanctions and export-control checks, we may collect: company name, registration or taxpayer number, director's name, legal address, bank details and, where required, the identity document of the person signing.
2.3 Information collected automatically
IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referral source, via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the Site.
2.4 Payment information
Payments are made by bank transfer to Dessant Inc's account against our invoice. We receive the payer details shown on the transfer. The Site does not accept card payments.

4. Who we share data with
We share personal data with third parties only as needed to operate our services: hosting (Cloudflare); analytics (Google Analytics); messengers (WhatsApp and Telegram, when you choose to contact us there; these providers process messages under their own policies); video (YouTube, only when you press play on a video on the Site); sellers, dealers, auction houses, transport, freight-forwarding and customs partners (only the information necessary to find, purchase and deliver equipment on your behalf); banks (to process payments); professional advisers and authorities (where required by law, e.g. customs or sanctions authorities).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your phone number with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers receiving personal data may use it only to deliver their service to us and not for their own marketing, analytics, or other independent purposes.
5. WhatsApp, Telegram and phone
If you write to us or call us, we use your phone number, messenger account and messages only to answer you and to handle your request or order — for example, offers that match what you asked for, agreements, invoices, and the status of purchase, shipping and delivery. We do not send mass promotional messages to people who have not asked for them.
You can ask us to stop writing to you at any time — just say so in the chat. Our Telegram channel t.me/dessantagro is something you subscribe to yourself; you can leave it at any time.
6. Email marketing
We send marketing emails only if you opt in. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect service emails about your order.
7. Cookies
The Site uses: essential cookies (required for the Site to work and be protected, set by Cloudflare); analytics cookies (Google Analytics, for traffic and usage measurement). The Site does not use advertising cookies. Videos are shown through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and load only after you press play. You can block or delete cookies in your browser or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on; the Site works fully without analytics cookies.
8. International transfers
We serve clients in multiple countries; your data is processed in the United States and may be processed in other jurisdictions. Where data is transferred from the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. We maintain safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized sharing or disclosure of client data, including phone numbers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where and when required by law.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]; we respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (one month under GDPR). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (e.g. California), you have analogous rights of access, deletion, and correction, exercisable via [email protected]. We do not sell or "share" personal information as defined by those laws.
12. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has provided data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
13. Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals; there is no common standard, so the Site does not respond to them. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site and reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
